The service
Scissor Image is a website with image tools that run entirely in your web browser. It is made by Samal Studios. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
Free, with no account
The tools are free to use, with no account, no daily limit and no watermark. We may add, change or remove tools at any time.
Your images stay yours
Your images are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to us, so we never receive, store or see them. You keep every right to your images and to the results you create. You are responsible for having the right to edit and share the images you open, and for keeping your own copies: we cannot recover a file you lose.
Acceptable use
Use the site lawfully. Do not try to disrupt or overload it, get around its security, or copy the site, its code or its design to offer a competing service. Automated access is fine for reading pages, as for search engines and AI assistants, but not for scraping the site at a scale that affects other visitors.
The site and its code
The website, its design, its text and the image engine are owned by Samal Studios and are protected by copyright. Using the tools does not give you any right to them beyond using the site as offered. Names such as Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest and WhatsApp belong to their owners and are used only to describe image sizes; Scissor Image is not affiliated with them.
No warranty
The tools are provided as they are, without any warranty. We work to make them reliable, but we cannot promise that every result will be exactly what you need or that the site will always be available. Check important results before you rely on them, for example the size of a photo for an official form or that the details were removed from a photo before you share it.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Samal Studios is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Privacy
How we handle the little information we do receive, such as anonymous page counts and messages you choose to send, is described in the privacy policy.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continuing to use the site means you accept the terms as they stand. Questions? Contact us.
